The 80th Anniversary Celebration of Rescue Was a Night to Remember

Friends of North Shore Animal League America from near and far came together on June 14 to help us celebrate 80 years of lifesaving work. Tribeca 360 provided a backdrop of breathtaking views of Lower Manhattan and the Hudson River, while the energy and enthusiasm of our generous supporters made the night truly magical.

Animal lover, adopter, and radio icon Maria Milito helmed the evening’s festivities as Host, while Animal League America foster parent, spokesperson, and Board Member Beth Stern served as the event’s Chairperson. The Rachael Ray Foundation® was this year’s Crystal Collar Award® recipient for their extraordinary dedication to our organization; and Board members Rachael Ray and John Cusimano were in attendance to accept the award. Guests enjoyed an elegant dinner, cocktails, and a lively auction, contributing to the vibrant and joyous atmosphere of the night. Capping off the evening, American pop music icon Taylor Dayne took the stage, energizing the crowd with her biggest hits and captivating them with her soulful ballads.

The Celebration of Rescue strengthens our efforts to Rescue, Nurture, Adopt and Educate, with funds raised dedicated to saving and enriching the lives of animals in need.
