February is “Responsible Pet Owners Month,” but I’m not having it! The word “owners” is wrong. Ownership involves property, and we don’t own pets any more than we own people! So, I hereby declare February as “Responsible Pet Parents Month” because, as adoptive parents, pet parents are responsible for the well-being and happiness of the beings they love — no matter what!
Proper dental hygiene is vital to the health and wellness of your pet. February is Pet Dental Health Month and the perfect time to make sure your pets' pearly whites are getting everything they need to last a lifetime.

Cats make wonderful pets. They can be less demanding and can easily adjust to a variety of lifestyles and living spaces. Every cat is a true individual, so it’s important to take the time to choose the friend who’s right for you. A cat’s personality and age, as well as the kinds of pets you already have at home, are all things to keep in mind when making your selection.
