Giving Day Changed the Lives of More Homeless Animals
On June 10, North Shore Animal League America celebrated its third annual Giving Day. This special fundraising campaign commemorates the founding of Animal League America, and raises vital funds for animals in need. Over the past three years, Giving Day has generated more than $1.5 million to save lives, thanks to the generosity of our enthusiastic and engaged supporters. Animal League America corporate partner, Purina®, stepped up to show their love and support for the importance of rescue and adoption by matching all donations up to $150,000 — helping us rescue even more dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens.
As a special bonus, all the animal lovers who made a gift to Animal League America were invited to an exclusive virtual event celebrating many of the pets whose lives they helped transform. Hosted by TV and Radio Personality and Adopter, Jenny Hutt, the Giving Day event included inspiring rescue and adoption stories, an interactive mosaic photo booth, and showcased the impact that every dollar has on our no-kill mission.
