Can animal control make you pay a fee to have your ESA registered dog returned to you?

Hello, My neighbors have been harassing my dog and I and one day took her off her chain outside and took her to the shelter. I called around and found her same day but was surprised to find it was going to cost me over $100 to have her returned. I'm recently unemployed and did not have the money on hand so had to wait until my dad had money in his account to give me money to have her returned. I was not aware that there is only a 3 day hold until she was already adopted! About a week later when I had the money to pick her up, the shelter told me she was put up for adoption and I immediately drove to the SPCA who told me she was adopted! I asked for the people's contact information so I could try to explain the situation to them and buy her back, hoping they would have the kindness in their hearts to agree to do so. But the SPCA refused. For some background information, I have severe PTSD and depression and have notes from my psychiatrist and general doctor that she is my service dog. I also paid $2,000 for her and my children are absolutely heartbroken as am I. Is there anything that can be done?? Please help!!
How can I get service dog out of the pound?
I was arrested for a traffic violation that was not my fault. My service dog was taken to the Animal Control. They are requiring that she be spayed before release and charging me over $400. She went in Friday night and I was released Monday morning, but they were closed Monday and Tuesday. She has saved my life more than once. I do not have that much money and it adds up every day. What can I do? I do not want her sterilized and I need her with me as soon as possible. What can I do?
My dog is being held for falsely being accused of biting someone.
My dog is being kept by Animal Control for falsely being accused of biting someone. Hearing has been completed and past the 7 days as stated by the hearing for the results. Ten days and no results, and they still have my dog in isolated confinement. No walks, visitors, we can drop off treats & a toy, which we did, but we get no status on how our dog is. Seems to be animal cruelty the way they are treating my dog with being falsely accused. We have done all that we were asked to do on the list to return our dog back to us, but they are still holding on to him.
How can I get my dog back?
My dog escaped the house with a bad skin condition and ended up at the shelter before I returned home. The shelter deemed her skin as neglect and threatened to take my other animals (1 dog 1 cat) if we tried to sign her out, so my boyfriend (legal owner) signed her away to them. But I've personally had this dog for 12 years and knows only us as a family. I have the vet I've used for 12 years as well on my side, but he legally can't do anything and told me to contact a lawyer. I've asked the shelter nicely to get her back any way I can but they won't give me a straight answer.
How can I get my indoor/outdoor cat back from Humane Society?
My cat is an indoor/outdoor cat, he was picked up by the Humane Society last night as a lost animal (when he was close to home). How can I get him back? I cannot afford the fees they are asking for. I don’t understand why I need to pay to get my animal back when he was taken from his home area being an outdoor cat 90% of the time.

Humane Society took my dog when I was not home.
My kids were at my house alone and the Humane Society came there because someone called about my dogs being outside. They have doghouses, food and water, and weren’t out there for along time. When I called to redeem my dogs they told me because no one answered the door I wasn’t allowed to take them back home with me.
Force Spaying??
My dog got out of our locked gate for the first time. Within 3 hours I'd located her at Animal Services and was ready to pick her up. Six hours later they called me and said I have to allow them to spay her or I cant have her back. Is this legal?? What are my rights?? I'm urgently trying to get this figured out because I only have a day or two before they then say I've surrendered her. Can you please help? I don't want her spayed ESPECIALLY without me present and not having chosen the vet to do it.
Animal Control took my dog because I was arrested.
I was arrested the other night and the Sheriff called animal control to pick up my puppy. Now that I am out of jail the shelter wants to charge me $200 to get him back. How can I get around this?
