Breeder gave my puppy to someone else.
I decided to buy a puppy from a breeder in TX. I drove 6 hours to choose the puppy and paid my deposit. Breeder regularly sent me pics of her, and when the pups were ready to leave I drove down to get her, but found out that he accidentally gave her to another family. Says he can't get her back. I'm a wreck. What are my options?
What rights do I have against seller who misrepresented dog breed?
I bought puppy which seller said was a cavapoo (poodle/cavalier mix) but after having it for a few weeks and seeing it mature, the physical appearance looks like a cocker spaniel which is a different breed. I also ordered an embark dog DNA test and the results show it's a cocker spaniel without any poodle or cavalier in it's DNA genetics. I brought this to the sellers attention but they won't take the dog back or give refund. Seller does not have the mother dog nor will provide videos to prove the mother and puppy together. All seller gave as proof was vet puppy examination paper which I told the breeder the vet will put whatever breed you tell them the puppy is, they have no special way to determine the breed either. What remedies do I have legally?
I bought a puppy and now the owner has changed her mind.
I paid for 2 puppies and was told by the original owner that they would be ready by Monday at 7. Now she has changed her mind. Is that legal?
Breeder has not sent me AKC papers after over two years.
I got my husky a little over two years ago. He was sold to me as a pure bred and I was told I would receive the papers after a few months. It has now been over two years and this woman has never answered me, nor returned any of my multiple emails. I am fed up. What should I do?
How can I get papers for my dog that I should have received months ago?
I bought an American Pocket Bully in June 2020 and I still HAVENT gotten my papers to register her. What do I need to do because I paid more then $2,000 for her.
I sold my Golden Retriever puppy and want it back.
I fell for a sob story of a single mother trying to fulfill the dream of her son owning a Golden Retriever puppy. I had bred my Golden girl and she contacted me about buying a puppy. We agreed on a payment plan because she couldn’t pay total up front. She has never met any deadline set, nor has she paid any amount after taking the puppy. I filed a civil suit where the judge awarded me the amount she owes plus fees. I don’t want the money, I want my puppy back, but the judge said he cannot order an injunction. She has tried to sell the puppy on Facebook, and now is looking for another place to live because she has to move.
I need help with my puppy’s medical bills.
We got a lab puppy a few weeks ago, and I had noticed she was walking funny, but I just thought she would out grow it. Then she stopped putting weight on it, so the vet did x-rays and nothing is broken, but she has drawer syndrome on both knees. Basically the ligaments are lose. She came with a 1 year guarantee but of course the lady I got her from says it doesn’t cover this. I know she’s had this since I’ve gotten her. Is there anyway I can have her help pay the medical bills?
I can’t afford my puppy’s bills. What do I do?
We purchased a German Shepard from a Pet Store and had all the papers and the Breeder's information. When we brought her home she had diarrhea. I called the pet store and they said it was the change in food or just a sensitivity to the change in her environment. We ending up rushing her to a vet when she started vomiting. We had only had her for 3 days. They checked her for all kinds of things and put her on a special diet. She straightened out in a couple of days and then it started again after a month, so she has had bouts of diarrhea on and off. We've now been to 2 different vets. She has all her shots. Before her lyme shot she was a healthy and 60 lbs. She started the next day with diarrhea, and in two weeks was down to 50 lbs. We of course went to a third vet to get a second opinion. They found that she has a pancreas problem and can't digest her food. From start to finish with the vets, we have spent over $3,000 in vets, tests, food, and the most recent vet bill was $625. We are a retired couple on a fixed income. I called the Pet Store and the Breeder. The breeder offered to give us a replacement. We don't want a replacement. We want our dog. She will be okay as long as she stays on special food and meds at the price of $650 a month. I called the Pet store to see if they could do something. We ran out of money and had to return her to the Pet store and are trying to work out a solution with assistance with the meds and food. Isn't there a law that prohibits this kind of stuff? What can I do?
