Fifty dogs were saved from puppy mill breeders in the Midwest, with the help of National Mill Dog Rescue. This marked the first rescue mission with National Mill Dog Rescue since COVID-19 restrictions were implemented over a year ago. Many of these animals were sadly treated as commodities — used purely for breeding purposes, and surrendered when they were no longer viable, deemed too old for adoption, or suffering with an easily-treatable medical condition. Thanks to our team’s efforts, these special animals are getting the first companionship and socialization they’ve ever had, and we see how much love they have to give.
