Keeping Our Campus & Community Safe in 2022

We are continuing to provide full adoption and pet health services while protecting the safety of our animals, staff, volunteers and visitors.

Adoption Center

The Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Canine Adoption Center and Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center are open daily from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm, no appointment needed.

Social distancing protocols will be observed while on campus and face masks must be worn at all times. In the event that there are too many people inside, visitors will be asked to wait in their cars and will not be allowed to crowd around the entrance or front of the building.

All adoptions are subject to approval and you must be 21 or older to adopt. We cannot guarantee the selection of adoptable animals at the time of your visit. Our experienced adoption counselors will make every effort to match you with your perfect pet.

To see an assortment of dogs, cats, puppies, and kittens currently available for adoption, please visit animalleague.org/adopt. While the puppies and kittens are adopted quickly, you can see select photos of the breeds we usually have.

Pet Health Centers

Our Pet Health Centers, accredited by the American Animal Hospital Association, are currently taking both sick and wellness appointments for the Alex and Elisabeth Lewyt Medical Center and the Don and Karen LaRocca Wellness Center (including spay/neuter and dental procedures), while making sure our community remains as safe as possible.

For the protection of our clients and staff, only a single owner may accompany their pet into the facility. All clients and staff are required to wear face masks, and to follow all social distancing guidelines when indoors.
