On a rainy night in 2021, Nebel showed up at a Good Samaritan’s door. She cleaned the mud off his body, fed him and kept him warm. The next morning, she noticed that Nebel had an issue with his back legs, walking with great difficulty.
He was brought to North Shore Animal League America and admitted through our Community Outreach department. Nebel received a thorough veterinary exam at our Pet Health Centers and was diagnosed with spinal neuropathy and urinary incontinence. Unfortunately, within the next 6 months, Nebel’s hind legs were completely paralyzed. He requires three medications per day to alleviate the symptoms that arise from his condition; however, nothing stops Nebel from being a treat-obsessed, purring sweetheart. Thank you for sponsoring Nebel!
