Meet Snowie2024-11-04T11:24:54-04:00

Snowie lost the only home she ever knew in the spring of 2022, when her owners felt they couldn’t meet her needs.

At our Bianca’s Furry Friends Feline Adoption Center, Snowie was observed making an unusual number of trips to the litter box and was later diagnosed with bladder stones. She had a surgical procedure called a cystotomy and recovered well. Because of Snowie’s history with stones, she requires  a special diet and medication – possibly for the rest of her life. The Pet Sponsorship Program ensures that she’ll receive all the medical treatment she needs and the loving home that all pets deserve. Thank you for sponsoring Snowie!

Snowie (aka Bea Arthur) is truly living her best life, always seeking the warmest spot in the apartment, usually on her cat tree in the sunniest bedroom window. Despite her usual preference for space, Bea’s most adorable trait is her desire to be on top of mom Erin all the time. Erin laughed, “For a cat who doesn’t love to be touched a lot, she truly doesn’t care about the boundaries of others!”

Snowie (aka Bea Arthur) celebrated her one-year anniversary with mom Erin recently, and it’s been a year marked by continuous surprises and laughter. Bea has found comfort in her designated cat bed by the radiator, which has become a cozy spot for solitude. Despite occasional regression when Erin is away, Bea’s affection for her is unwavering. Evenings are filled with playfulness, and their time together, amid Erin’s busy schedule, is cherished, making each moment precious.

February 2024

Snowie (aka Bea Arthur) has not enjoyed having mom Erin out of the house more and away from her side! Fortunately, Erin was able to rely upon the Pet Health Centers and Pet Behavior staff to help get to the bottom of Bea’s litterbox issues and figure out a plan to get her back on track. Despite it all, Erin does appreciate being Bea’s favorite person, and appreciates all Bea’s Sponsors: “I want to thank ALL of you for helping Bea — she is a totally unique spirit, and I’m so grateful to have her in my life!”

November 2023

Snowie (aka Bea Arthur) is simply beloved by mom Erin: “My gratitude for Sweet Bea Arthur is immeasurable. Having her to take care of every day has given me a sense of purpose. She makes me laugh on days where I have a hard time finding something to smile about. Sweet Bea Arthur is the gift that keeps on giving — I’m so grateful to the Sponsor Program for bringing us together!”
